As her tail flicked into his face he gave out a surprised snort before a mighty, carefree and joyous laugh bellowed out of his stomach. ”Alright but you’re a lady! You get a head start Wish!!” After counting to three he took off down the cave, following the sound of her hooves before they stopped suddenly. Rather surprised that she would hid he sniffed the air like a dog. What an odd sight it was, yes indeed. But he didn’t care, and sniffed anyway letting his ears swivel like satellites to pick up any noise she might make. Breathing! That was it, slowly he crept forward, following the sound of the breath that could have been hers whispering to and from her chest cavity. When he was just around a corner he stopped, Holding his breath he counted to ten while waiting. Then, like a flash of lightning he burst around the corner, looked up to her, gently lipped her forelock and said ”Yes! I found you, I did it on my own too. Your breathing really gave you away Wish. Do I get to know why yet, pretty please?” Laughing he looked up at her, she was a whole lot taller than him, but that didn’t matter she was fun and he was curious and excited.

Looking up at her the young stallion cocked his head inquiringly. What exactly did she mean by that? He attempted to ponder it over in his mind, but that didn’t last long before he pranced forward and looked up at the pretty mare before him. ”What do you mean by that Wish? I’m quite confused, oh won’t you explain it please. Pretty pretty please? And no more hide and seek! That’s fun, really really fun, but this is serious can’t you tell?” Lightly he giggled though before really being able to keep up his serious tone. Oh how Gahnim failed at such things, but the little white stallion was absolutely much too young and childish to keep to a serious way of life. Aside from that, he was raised as a light little boy and loved to be happy and have others be happy. That’s what the world was to him, butterflies and rainbows wasn’t it? Yes, yes indeed that was exactly what he was! And that was quite thrilling for the young stallion who needed to grow up, but refused to do so out of his own selfishness. He liked being as he was and shirking responsibilities. Heaven forbid he would know what to do if he actually had to take care of others as well. Surely he would be alright at it, but oh he was just all too innocent.

Gahnim giggled as he spoke to her, his smile broadening a great deal if that was even possible. Lord almighty it hurt his cheeks but wow he was just that extremely happy! Oh she was so sweet, so very, very endearingly sweet. And fun! Oh his Wish was terribly fun and always happy. A friend though! She had said he reminded her of a childhood friend. ”Whatever happened to this friend Wish? Hmm, did he disappear or just leave you? That’s so mean! I would never leave ya know. Never, ever, ever, ever! I promise. As long as you want me as your friend I’ll be there! Okay?!” Beaming up at her like the morning sun Gahnim was the picture of innocence and sweet summer promises, promises that he didn’t even think about, and wasn’t even sure he could keep forever. That didn’t cross his mind though, and he did think of that in a sincere way, as sincere a way he could at least.
